Common Maintenance Factors Taxonomy

This is the download link for the Taxonomy. You can use it as part of your investigation and safety data. The idea is that you can complete your investigation and then use these categories to consistently identify factors in your organisation.

This can be used as part of a Part-145 Safety Management System

Maintenance Data Reporting Form

This is the link for the CMFT Data Reporting Form.

Please use this to record all of the factors from your organisation over a year, The data is removed from any of the investigation details so there are no commercial or security aspects of sharing this data.

Our aim is to compile this data on an annual basis and share it so that the Aircraft Maintenance Industry can learn from each other.
